Introduction

What I want to talk about mostly on this website of mine is the humankind”s ”evolution” of its’ concept of Truth, with regards to where all of us humans stand in Christ. We should ALWAYS be reflecting upon expanding our understanding of Christ Jesus so that we can continually validate the truth within us, especially in terms of what we experience as value, and how we act upon this value. If you, who read this right this moment, have been transformed by the renewing of your mind, through your restored soul in Jesus Christ, then YOU HAVE CHANGED in at least several ways. You act different and feel different because you ARE different now.
It is no longer JUST about your own existence. It’s no longer just what’s good for you, right? I, myself, have found I am growing into a new reverence for life and am beginning to experience new meaning and purpose in and to my life. I have always pushed myself hard in educating myself. The world has always been mostly a learning environment for me, a school to expand and contract in, to grow and not shrivel, a place to be nourished and not depleted. It’s always been much, much more than just physical survival, earning “the buck”, and trying to keep my family and myself physically safe. I have just been totally fascinated with the world and learning about it. I guess it’s been MY WAY of keeping a semblance of control in my life. We ALL have to dominate SOMETHING or SOMEBODY in our lives, right? We’re always competing for attention, to speak our thoughts, to have our way as often as possible, to be closer to the front of the line, to eat and drink what we basically want, and especially to be heard when we try to communicate. Control has its own issues in EVERY aspect of our lives. Some people even have to be violent in order to be seen and heard. And if we can’t get a grip on things, then we try to control the world by blocking it out with drugs, excessive eating, alcohol, rampant sex drives, talking too much, dominating someone, even blaming ourselves for things that have nothing to do with us. These are all avenues of expressing control TO OURSELVES, in order to feel good about ourselves, if even in a fictitious way.
“Control, in other words, is a lot about self-perception and how we define our values accordingly.

THIS is the Scriptural “weight” referred to at the beginning of this intro, OK? It is basically the expression of our supposed-need for control and is the very framework of the strongholds of sin which satan feeds into our soul, THROUGH his temptations. Can you see this? Us humans are faced with subconscious control factors in all aspects of our lives: the police, laws, taxes, stop signs, the military, bad guys with guns, t.v. program schedules, work schedules and supervisors, the prices of goods we want to buy, the Ten Commandments ………… even our own moral ethics ………… all these things affect us very directly, making us think that WE JUST HAVE TO have control over something! We gotta “wear the pants” somehow here, right? ”I’m not a chiild anymore! I don’t need to be controlled, told what to do all the darned time!” IS THIS HOW IT IS for you in your life? I am sure that if you answer, “No!” to this, you’re only fooling yourself.

So, just HOW do we find some kind of symbolism of control in our lives, anyway, without totally dilluding ourselves?????? Maybe money? Education and promotions? Owning a home and car? Having an attractive and/or agile body? Experiencing sexual “freedom”, or the choice to ingest alcohol or drugs if we want? Having or NOT having these things and effects is our source of having direct perception of being in control, right? Thusly, in our minds and subsequent world-views, the executive becomes more valuable than the janitor, the dentist more valuable than his receptionist, the parent is more valuable than the child, OUR welfare and security become more valuable than other people’s. And these external representations of power around us lead to us fear. Yes, fears about transgressing against our employer, our parents, the court system, the church doctrines …………. you can make up your own list. My Friends, these things give us the feeling of being splintered ……… actually, WE BECOME SPLINTERED in our lives. We end up competing with our wife or husband, or co-worker or neighbor ……….. it becomes a race to the finish of something we need to call “valuable” in our lives and we don’t even know that we are doing it. In other words, we become just another dynamic of society’s misunderstanding, or total lack of knowledge, of just what we each are evolving into. We each, and totally unbeknownst to almost all of us, are controlled by fear because we desire control so darn much. And, on the bottom line, we become more and more insecure.

But then, if and when it ever happens to us, we are visited by the Holy Spirit. We are approached by a Power which does not judge what It encounters, and begins to fill us with enthusiasm, purpose and meaning at the dynamic level which we have never experienced before. Life becomes rich and full for us. We become engaged in the world with the growing feeling of not being so afraid anymore. Yes, we begin to experience the Presence of Divine Power in our lives and It slowly becomes empowering TO US. Then we no longer have to fight for some kind of semblance of control. THEN we suddenly become to realize that we are experiencing freedom from control’s control over us and our lives!

What this website is trying to be about, is that the kind of Power which I am alluding to cannot be bought, inherited or hoarded. THIS kind of Power is totally empowering and cannot be forced upon a person’s consciousness and awareness. THIS IS TRUE EVOLUTION of the human being. Yes, a consciousness that is no longer limited to what is in the world, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, OK ???!!?? No matter WHAT or WHO it is.
The experiencing of our Lord Jesus Christ is the origin of our deepest value. It is mostly an invisible realm yet a realm in which people consciously sacrifice their very lives for a higher purpose that actually makes sense, even in this fear-laden existence we call, “physical life” on the planet Earth. Yes, people become aware of the incomprehensible fullness of the compassion of Jesus Christ. They, yes, WE start to become aware of perceptions of a much-grander perspective. In other words, we become alive for maybe the VERY first time. Yes, we actually become reborn. When we find Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit in our lives, we begin to perceive the world not as an unaccountable given that needs to be dominated in order to attain survival, but strickly a learning environment with God’s Word as the Teacher and the Holy Spirit as the Tutor. THEN, and only then, does the invisible World and Kingdom of God our Father become known, so that we can explore and understand, and begin to draw Divine Implications of what REALLY is to come for us when Jesus finally shows Himself to us !

The problem is that a lot of people claim what you’re saying but in reality, there’s just no ground hitting answer. We all have our own views and that’s why some people prefer to believe something over another. I apply my years of education and practice in behavioral psychology to what I discover in the Holy Bible. The “risks” potentially incurred from studying psychology and Scripture lie within the individual persons ability to discern just how honest they choose to be with themselves. To “improve” usually means to raise a particular thing to a better quality, OK? But in the spiritual realm, improving might not be the ticket at all, contrary to many world-views. Life with Jesus in it is not a new level of accomplishment or attainment but, rather, new life itself. No re-wiring job for THIS house or yours, OK? NEW wires only. Life with Christ, as I post most often, requires a new basis of life ……… yes, life without a structure that has the self as the foundation. Does this make sense? And “to sellf improve fast” is actually quite the oximoron. All life and all change, especially when one approaches the Divine Christ, is an entire new life with new paradyms and an entirely new outlook on what really IS “value”, and what is not. Living with God is a uniqueness beyond comparison because it requires the humility to face “the self” as empty, waiting to be filled with Jesus and our focus upon Him, and HIM only.
