How can we  KNOW  that we really know God?      HOW  CAN  WE  BE  SURE  ??

My friends, firstly we have to  KNOW  that the Bible is exclusive, in that it shuts out any other considerations as to What and Who God is.      By way of His Word, God is revealing Himself to us.          There IS no other avenue of spiritual wisdom, Pure Truth, which connects us  DIRECTLY  to God.  The Bible is  THE  theater of God’s Wisdom and Glory.   HIS Nature and Character are revealed through Abraham, Moses, Jacob, David and the prophets.   Where else can fellowship with God be given to us?  What other Flesh manifested itself on Earth  AS  GOD??

In whom else is God’s Presence allowed?

When I am witnessing my faith, now and then I encounter a person who seems to have  EVERY logical  argument for questioning the accuracy and validity of the Bible.       And this is well and good, I suppose, for many a deep thinker and questioner.       But, after listening to several details of how the Bible is incongruous or contradictory, I am still left with the question, “Why not just study God’s Word for It’s richness and clarity and poise, instead of worrying about this or that detail of obvious “nit-picking”?       And, surely, studiers of the Bible  DO  have logical arguments as you sequential order and time-lines described by some of the prophets, disciples and letter-writers, in various parts of Scripture.  But, why not just enjoy The Word,  AS  God’s Revelation of Himself, instead of entertaining this constant embrace of our ego’s band wagons all the time?

So, when confronted with such nit-picking, I like to ask,  ”OK, OK, so you  HAVE  some debatable arguments!  Good for you, fella !  But shouldn’t you rather be just TOTALLY elated that our God WANTS us to know Him, so that we can love Him and have Faith in Him?        Let’s close down the pity-party, already!        I KNOW you’re insecure and all that, and you truly WANT to have some self-control to cling to, but get over yourself, OK?”          :)    L.O.L.

And to all reading this, who cling to the concepts of “Post-Modernism”, I ask you, please, “What do you want from God? Truth or entertainment?”        Your ideology surely presents a wonderful collision with what’s  ”true”  for all of us.    And this collision is SURELY with what you want to have “acceptable as true”.     But God has spoken with unmistakable truth, irregardless of interpretation or occasion of slight human error which may have surely crept into the Bible over the centuries.     Publishing errors happen.     But the Bible carries its own Authority and has never been refuted ……  ever.  It’s contents have been canonized by the greatest minds of ancient and current theology, philosophy, history and the clergy.  It has been painstakingly researched and studied under the most scrupulous criterion and principles of ethics known to mankind.

With all of this in mind, I sincerely believe that  ANYONE  needing to nit-pick Scripture just don’t want to admit that God knows more than they do!

Now, wasn’t THAT paragraph a mouth full!!

The point of this website is, why guess about God, or assume post-modern attitudes of, “Nobody can REALLY know FOR SURE that it IS God’s Word, you know!” ??       Yes, why must the Bible be looked at with  ”the final word”  on it left to personal interpretation and opinion?     What’s wrong with just taking our Good Book as it is, folks?

Why not just praise God for His revealing Himself to us so plainly, instead of assuming that us humans just “will never really know” of God FOR SURE?

Or is it, my friends, all about the capacity for us humans to argue?   Are those inclined to post-modernism just afraid to relinquish authority back to where it BELONGS?     We humans just don’t deal very well with authority conflicts, do we?        Why not just approach the Bible for Its’ Glory, instead of trying to separate what suits the spiritual “taste buds” and what doesn’t?  The Bible isn’t about you and I, my friends, It’s mostly about God wanting us to know about Him!

Just how Loving of a Divine Nature is THAT, I ask?   How lovely and loving, indeed!

Yes, my friends, let us pursue the knowledge of God.  Let us  do look to where the True Authority lies!  We love Jesus, or are trying to find out about loving Jesus, or we wouldn’t be on this website, right?    Think about it.

I have written this basically for anyone who chances by this website and are still  ”scratching their heads”  about how to approach God in His Word.  And this site is also for those of us who struggle on our Path to Jesus.  We all do.      I am sure we are all looking for something solid to hang on to.

And we can COUNT on our Redeemer, and we can stake our life on Him !      We can KNOW where we can hang our hat of frustrations on.  We KNOW where we can clear our consciences.  We can be  ASSURED  that the Price of our Redemption has already been paid in Full.

Dear Lord, I know You can see the mess which the humankind has gotten itself into.    But we can KNOW, through Your Holy Spirit, that our Redeemer lives and that our own death will not put us beyond the range of His Redeeming Power.  Help us remember, God, that You ARE NOT finished with us, even after our own funeral services are over and done with.       YOUR Work does not end.        Help us to let go of our vague ideas of an afterlife, and please help us in our confusion.  You DO have our eternal future already planned.  You WILL NOT let our souls be lost!  Thank You SO much, Father, for Your Love for us.
